Q&A with Coach Carl

Carl Casper, the Head Coach for Midstate HS Boys rugby will be hosting a Q & A meeting for potential players and their parents on.  Our team is open to all HS Boys, headquartered in Cheshire, CT, we attract players from many towns within 30 miles. No experience is necessary but some background in football, soccer, wrestling and lacrosse can be helpful. The most important element is your desire to work hard, learn and have fun playing this dynamic and exciting team sport.

Coach will talk about the following:

• What it means to play rugby at Midstate and if it’s right for you
• The expectations from the player
• Our approach to teaching the game including proper tackling technique
• Our practice and game schedule for the Spring 2023 season
