Overview: Midstate youth rugby offers a flag rugby program for boys and girls in grades 1-8 (based on the current 2020/21 school year). The program is divided into 3 co-ed teams (u10, u12, u14). No experience is necessary.
u10 Intro (grades 1-4): Perfect for beginners and less advanced players, who will learn the basics of rugby in a fun and instructional environment.
u12 & u14 Competitive (grades 5-8): In order to provide a safe environment for our youth players, we are offering a competitive flag rugby program for more advanced players that delivers a more authentic rugby experience (modified lineouts, scrums, kicking, etc.) with an emphasis on developing skills, promoting teamwork, and having fun while competing, all without contact.
